Founder
Mrs. Anithakumar -Founder & Managing Trustee
Mrs. Anithakumar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). She has over 15 years of experience as a dedicated school teacher. Her passion for education, compassion towards the elderly, and commitment to community service inspired the establishment of Senior Care Foundation, where she leads the organization as Founder and Managing Trustee.
Mrs. Mahalakshmi – Founder & Secretary
Mrs. Mahalakshmi is a Commerce graduate with more than 15 years of experience in business administration and financial management. She oversees the Foundation’s administrative functions, financial planning, and operational activities, ensuring sustainable and transparent delivery of services to senior citizens and their families.

Dr. Meenakshi Sundaram, M.B.B.S., M.S. (General Surgery), DNB (Genito-Urinary Surgery)
Dr. Meenakshi Sundaram is a renowned Urologist, Andrologist , and General Surgeon with more than a decade of experience in Genito-Urinary Surgery. A university topper and recipient of 14 Gold Medals and 3 Silver Medals, he specializes in uro-oncology, prostate, kidney and bladder disorders, pediatric and female urology, and advanced laser and minimally invasive procedures. He serves as a Board Member of Senior Care Foundation, contributing his expertise towards enhancing healthcare and well-being for senior citizens.
Dr. Bhakyalakshmi, M.D. (Psychiatry), DNB (Psychiatry)
Dr. Bhakyalakshmi is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over four years of experience in clinical and community psychiatry. She currently serves at Government Hospital, Manamadurai, and has extensive experience in mental health service delivery across Madurai, Theni, and Virudhunagar districts. Her areas of expertise include suicide prevention, forensic psychiatry, mental health advocacy, and community-based psychiatric care. She is actively involved in training healthcare professionals, conducting mental health camps, and strengthening public mental health systems. She is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society (Tamil Nadu Chapter).
Ms. Suba Pandi, BSC, M.Sc. (Nursing)
Ms. Suba Pandi is a nursing professional with over 17 years of experience in hospital administration and patient care, having served as a Nursing Superintendent. She also has 3 years of academic experience as a Principal of a Nursing College. Her expertise contributes significantly to strengthening nursing standards, caregiver training, and quality senior care services.
Mr. M. Karupuvel, M.Com., B.L.
Legal Advisor
Mr. M. Karupuvel is an Advocate with over 20 years of legal practice before the High Court and District Courts in Madurai. He holds degrees in Commerce and Law and provides valuable guidance on legal compliance, governance, regulatory matters, and the protection of the rights and dignity of senior citizens.
Mrs. R. Helena – Registered Nurse and Midwife (RNM)
Mrs. R. Helena is a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RNM) holding a Diploma in Nursing, with over 25 years of professional nursing experience. She has also served as a School Health Nurse for 5 years, promoting preventive healthcare and student well-being. Her extensive clinical expertise and compassionate approach contribute significantly to enhancing nursing practices and quality senior care services at Senior Care Foundation.
